Genes

Next time when you look into the mirror, pause and look again. Your body houses a quantity of genes that have been passed down to you from ......

Imagine ..... you have had thousands of ancestors

Imagine .... you will not be here if any one of them had

forgotten to have children
preferred his own sex
succumbed to diseases
crashed his car into a tree

From the beginning of Life (from a million years ago), every one of your ancestors has succeeded in passing the baton of Life down to the next generation. Will you fail them?

It is important to understand the instinct of The Genes.
For example, a child with loving grandparents has better chances of survival. Extrapolate into the future, such grandchild with similar disposition towards grandchildren will enhance the survival of his descendants.

Conclusion, genes that love grandchildren survive.
Bottom line: Grandparents love grandchildren.

It explains why brothers love each other when they are young and fight each other when they are old to claim assets for their children and grandchildren. Nature encourages such behavior, blame it on the genes.

Imagine a situation

Judge A has only one son who is charged with murder. Judge A is honest; he finds him guilty and sentences him to death.Judge B is faced with the same dilemma. He asks another judge to hear the case and then does everything he can (lawfully or unlawfully) to help. The son is acquitted.

Judge A is praised by the King and is promoted. Judge B is found out; demoted and punished but his son survives to produce offspring.

Analysis
Judge A is successful during his lifetime but his genes die with him. Nature sieves out such people; they are less likely to have descendants.

Judge B is a failure in life but he succeeds in pushing his genes into the future. So now, can you guess what kind of human beings are walking around with you today? Of course, people who are like Judge B.

Such behavior is called “human nature”.
